Maliki Islamic University-Maulana Malik Ibrahim State Islamic University Malang held the inauguration of administrators and members of the Student Executive Council for the 2026 period as the beginning of student service in running university-level student organizations. This procession became an important momentum for students who received leadership mandates in the campus environment, which took place on Thursday, March 5 2026 at the Hall on the 5th floor of the UIN Malang Rectorate Building.
The inauguration began with the reading of the Decree of the Chancellor of UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang Number 415 of 2026 concerning the appointment of administrators and members of the Student Executive Council. The decision letter was read by the Secretary General of the University Student Senate and continued with the taking of the oath of office and official inauguration by the Chancellor of UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang.
Chairman of the University Student Senate, Shidqi Amru, said that the inauguration was an important moment for students who received the mandate of the organization. "Today's inauguration is a sacred moment, a moment of sacred giving given directly by the Chancellor of UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. The UIN Malang Student Senate congratulates you on the inauguration of the Student Executive Council," said SEMA-U Chair Shidqi Amru.
Chairman of the University Student Senate, Shidqi Amru, also assessed that the DEMA management for the 2026 period has good capacity in running student organizations. "Today's DEMA has very strong capabilities. This inauguration is not just a ceremony, because today there is also a fun chat session with the Chancellor of UIN Malang," said SEMA-U Chair Shidqi Amru.
The inauguration activity was then continued with an NGOBRAS or Fun Chat session with university leaders which presented a dialogue between intra-campus student organizations and university leaders regarding organizational development and student contributions to campus.
