Maliki Islamic University-The management of the Student Executive Council of the State Islamic University of Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang for the 2026 period was officially inaugurated as the first step in carrying out work programs and strengthening the role of student organizations at the university level. This inauguration is a momentum for the management to make a real contribution to students and the campus environment which will take place on Thursday, March 5 2026 at the Hall on the 5th floor of the UIN Malang Rectorate Building.
Chairman of the University Student Senate, Shidqi Amru, in his speech conveyed two important points that need to be realized by the DEMA management during their term of office. These two points relate to strengthening organizational identity and developing work programs that have an impact on students.
"Two points that DEMA friends need to actualize are branding and innovation. Branding is done by maximizing all of the organization's social media. Innovation is done by presenting new programs that can make a real contribution to students," explained SEMA-U Chair Shidqi Amru.
Chairman of the Student Executive Council of UIN Malang for the 2026 period, Ahmad Ghozali Abbas, in his oration said that a position in a student organization is a big mandate that must be carried out with full responsibility. "This position does not mean being higher than other students, but it is a burden to sink deeper," said Chairman of DEMA UIN Malang Ahmad Ghozali Abbas.
Chairman of the UIN Malang Student Executive Council, Ahmad Ghozali Abbas, also reminded that the organization's journey will be faced with various challenges. "There will be many obstacles ahead. There will be times when you feel alone in the midst of many processes. Remember, there are friends around you who are walking together so you don't need to feel alone," said the Chairman of DEMA UIN Malang, Ahmad Ghozali Abbas.
