MALIKI ISLAMIC UNIVERSITY – The Nuzulul Al-Qur'an commemoration organized by Dharma Wanita PBB (DWP) UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang was full of spiritual meaning. The activity began with a Koran sermon, followed by remarks from the Chairman of the DWP, Hj. Layyinah Basri, as well as reports on the organization's social activities.
In this forum, the DWP management expressed their commitment to running the organization in a transparent and accountable manner. "We are committed to openly reporting all activities that have been carried out," stated in the activity report.
A number of superior programs that have been realized include Friday Blessings, compensation for orphans, as well as various social activities during the month of Ramadan. The DWP management structure, which covers the fields of education, social culture and economics, also plays an active role in implementing the work program.
In the Mauidhah Hasanah session, Prof. Dr. H.M. Faisal Fatawi, M.Ag., delivered a message about the importance of making the Al-Qur'an a source of life's blessings. In his presentation, it was explained that blessing is interpreted as ziyadatul khair or increasing goodness, and the key to this blessing is closeness to the Al-Qur'an.
"If you have dreams and succeed in achieving them, all of this comes from Allah, then don't be arrogant," advised Prof. Faisal Fatawi.
This Nuzulul Al-Qur'an momentum is expected to further strengthen the commitment of the extended family of UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang to make the Al-Qur'an a guide to life and a source of blessings in every role of life.
