MALIKI ISLAMIC UNIVERSITY -UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang held a Leadership Meeting (Rapim) on Wednesday, February 26 2026, at the 5th Floor of the UIN Malang Rectorate Building. This activity was attended by all university and faculty leaders to discuss evaluation and future performance strategies.
Rapim is focused on strengthening institutional steps in realizing UIN Malang's vision as a superior university with an international reputation. In his direction, the Chancellor of UIN Malang emphasized the importance of harmonizing movements and accelerating institutional achievements.
"Our vision is to become a superior university with an international reputation in creating a harmonious, beneficial and intelligent society. We want to have a big impact through moderate and high-quality religious views, as well as producing graduates who truly have an impact on society," he emphasized in front of the meeting participants.
According to him, this big vision is not just a slogan, but a strategic direction that must be translated into real and measurable work programs in each faculty and work unit. Rapim is a consolidation forum to ensure that all leadership elements have the same commitment to strengthening governance, academic quality and global competitiveness.
In this forum, internationalization achievements were also presented which continue to show a positive trend. It was recorded that 702 prospective students from 42 countries showed interest in continuing their studies at UIN Malang. This achievement is an indicator of the increasing trust of the international community in the quality of education offered.
Through this Rapim, UIN Malang emphasized its commitment to continue making improvements and continuous innovation. It is hoped that the synergy between leaders will be able to accelerate the university's steps in realizing its big vision as a campus with an international reputation that makes a real contribution to society, the nation and the world.
