At the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, the inauguration of the OMK 2026 management is positioned as the starting point for building a leadership ecosystem that is more relevant to the challenges of the times.
Located on the V Floor of the Rectorate Building, the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training officially inaugurated the new management of Student Organizations and Institutions for the period 2026. The theme sounds academic, but the message to be emphasized is quite simple: FITK students must have the courage to lead, not just follow.
The Dean of FITK, Muhammad Walid, emphasized that students are not just objects of campus policy. They are subjects who help determine the direction of the faculty. He reminded that academic achievements cannot be maximized without active student participation.
That statement is not mere talk. Today's work world demands more than just a high GPA. Communication, collaboration and leadership skills are key. At this point, OMK is expected to act as a real laboratory. A place where students learn to make decisions, manage conflict, and design impactful programs.
The inauguration procession was solemn. Reading the decree, taking the oath, and handing over the position become symbols of the leadership relay. However, what is more interesting is the direction we want to build after the ceremony is over.
The Chairman of DEMA and SEMA FITK in his speech highlighted the importance of synergy. Organizations cannot run alone. Collaboration across study programs, even across faculties, is an important agenda so that student movements are not fragmented.

2026 has only been around for two months. Time is still long. It remains to be seen whether the progressive leadership that is being promoted will be felt in concrete programs, or whether it will stop at the event's theme banner. FITK students seem to have been given a stage. Now it's their turn to show the quality of their game.
